Our goal is to provide safe, affordable brand name and specialty medications to members of a self-funded plan at a substantially lower cost for both the member and their self-funded health plan.
The substantial savings opportunities that our program provides are due to the low prices negotiated by the Tier 1 countries and the pharmaceutical companies. Due to heavy lobbying in Washington, D.C., the U.S. does not negotiate medication costs.
We contract with government licensed pharmacies in Canada, the U.K. and Australia (Tier One countries as designated by Congress), to supply brand name and specialty medications, packaged and sealed by the original manufacturer, for direct delivery to our enrolled members.
All programs are based upon individual voluntary participation in order to comply with the FDA directives that allow individuals to obtain their medications internationally for personal use.
As the original international prescription provider with over 16 years in business, we have over 500 self-funded groups, both public and private sector that have implemented our program.
Value Proposition: Our program significantly reduces the cost driver behind most self-funded plans prescription drug costs, brand name and specialty medications. The program is a win-win for both the member and the plan sponsor, offering a zero co-pay for the member and significantly lower cost for the plan sponsor.
Who can benefit? Any self-funded plan with a minimum of 500 employees.
